They would tell you to do something - you would ask “why”. They would answer it for you — you would say “why”…

They would tell you how something worked - you would say “why”. They would answer it for you — And you would say “why”…

They would say look at the pretty blue sky today — you would say “why” is it blue…

Well, with the “WHY” game in regarding skiing fundamentals, you should always be able to whittle it down to “why“ something is happening… Always!

Why are you sitting back in your turn?

Why are you dumping your hip at the top of the turn?

Why are you having so much of your turn shape below the gate?

With understanding “why” something is happening and best understanding the process completely, you should always then be able to answer the question for yourself… problem solved, simple!

It is ESSENTIAL to understand the “WHY’s”!
