Alpine RACING Performance
the gist
First year(s) FIS is a whole new world. Equipment is different, race hills different, and competition is deep - we're here to help that transition.
Within the 50/50 Break it down. Take it slow. Think about thinking in the ways to make new movements become a habit. When does anyone really take the time to break things down cognitively and neuromuscularly to learn the correct movement, and get the chance to apply it in a gates. To then repeat and reinforce it again and again through that same process... the answer is never ! In this sport everyone rushes to cut the most important corner...not with us !
Our primary focus is the fundamental movement application and process in the correct sequence.

the breakdown
The Trifecta...<1 of 3>
Ready, here we go!
It's time to get right into Directed Free Skiing, to learn what that means and the "why" behind it, to embrace our language used, and build our base... then move to applying those movements in dictated radius (gates).
This Step, like all of them is critical to get it right - its all about getting the proper sequence of proper movements. From there , make it habit. We focus on building the correct habit and strengthening them, period. The trick is not moving past this point to quickly or emotionally.
As a Standalone Camp
If you've been a part of any of our previous projects, you know our philosophy, concepts, and processes and how we talk about them - that is our backbone! That will always remain uncompromised. That is where we will pick up to revisit, and reinforce how to best go forward within our Camps. With that, for those joining for the first time - no worries, we will get you up to speed with that understanding to be most productive immediately.

In Full
The past few of years with the pandemic we have run a daycamp / hybrid model and we will continue with that. That means, athletes are not baby sat or micro-managed throughout their day. Once you get off the hill - you do you!
You: your work, lunch, nap, video , tune skis, online classess, dryland, etc... whatever that maybe you make it fit when it needs to fit. Thant said we will have meetings, video, chats and all the likes...
Athletes look after their own food needs -of course we will help coordinate getting athletes to the grocery store for food shops and whatnot.
Afternoon dryland activities are suggested with different activities per day to suit the different needs from the day.
Video -we bring a big focus proper technical body position and movemnet sequence from seeing it and understanding it in WC video and going forward with visualization on the hill. We then blend that with then anyanylizng your own video to see what is happening and how it is happening.
 Â
Townhomes/Condo are what we have organize for accommodations with full kitchens. From these accomodations it is a simple walk to the lift.
We have dedicated tuning rooms so bring your tuning boxes and vises. Benches will be provided - but if you're driving and you have one, bring it!
Weather: As always we can plan and have progression build from the first day to the last but in the end Mother Nature dictates - everyday is weather dependent!
With that from the coaches side, we always work our ass off to make the best training possible happen!
